A New Cherokee for New Drivers

While off-roading is an exciting time for all drivers, it might not be the primary thing many drivers are doing. The Jeep Cherokee used to be the master of off-roading, but it sacrificed the comfort that many other vehicles have had on the road. This model has since been redesigned and put on a new platform, making it better suited for the highway while only taking away some of the off-roading capabilities.

What Caused this Change?

The Jeep Cherokee that become world-renowned for going off-roading on its XJ platform, but, as mentioned, this platform was not ideal on paved roads. Moving to the KL platform, which is based on a FIAT Compact platform, has given the Cherokee a new set of customers that find themselves behind the wheel.
